Stunning early example of a ‘Honey Glaze’ Murano light with original chrome gallery and fitting designed by Carlo Nason for Mezzaga in 1960.
Featuring its original chrome gallery & fitting it’s a great example of early Murano glass. Dating from the 1960s designed by icon Carlo Nason for Mezzaga during his tenure there. He created many iconic pieces for Mezzaga, but he was most renown for his beautifully designed and crafted lighting pieces.
The technique used in its construction is called ‘Honey Glazing’ which you can see at the base where they melt in an amber piece into the clear and hombré glass.
A wonderful example of early Mezzaga and great quality piece with its rare to find original fittings.

Excellent condition, the glass is un-chipped or scratched, the chrome is well preserved, some minor marks commensurate with age. Please refer to photos.
