Wonderfully crafted mid century modern space age mirror purchased in Paris in 1950. With a cross hatch wrought iron design with stunning central amoeba organic shaped mirror, the design is iconicly French and mid century modernist in its design.
The cross hatch iron is designed to act as a space to hang hooks to hold items of clothing or perhaps printed photos. Each corner of the iron cross hatching is highlighted by round rubber tips in the primary colours.
The mirror is hung onto the wall by two iron holders that hide being the iron rungs, creating a sleek look against the wall. The design of this piece is a brilliant example of French mid century modern Sputnik design and a wonderful addition to any space.
